SilverOrchid
I recently bought some clear labels from labels by the sheet, I then decided to see about using them to label my candles myself but my question is for those I have seen the clear labels on your candles, do you do them yourself and if so what do you use ink jet or laser printer? I also saw a post on krylon spray to make them water proof but Im thinking it would leave a film on the labels? Thanks a bunch for your help!Kristy

slyfoxy46628
I bought the clear oval one sfrom the sam eplace and was all excited. I used my inkjet printer to do them up and when I got all done they wouldn't stick on my jars because of the shape I got. Needless to say I was disappointed but not their fault. Anyway, I had them make me some special burning labels with my name and the scents so now my candle jars are label free except the bottom. That way it doesn't mess up the prettiness of the candle and the person still knows where they got the candle from. And, I can offer a repour in the same jar but different scent if they want and don't have to worry about the label matching the scent. Hope that helps. kittykat
I use both the clear & frosted laser labels from Online labels. I print in black only on my laser printer so no need to waterproof them. I use them on the windows of my 8 oz window tins and for my jars. I colour my candles and want the colour to show through.
Dipdiva
I also use clear labels and the Krylon spray does give them a nice gloss.
