jennifer
What do most of you actually consider to be your "candle season"? For instance which months? I suppose it varies some for people but I was guessing definately october, november and december; however, I wasn't sure after that if january and february might be included or not. I'm just wondering which months I can expect to need more time to dedicate to candle making.TIA
mommy2xp
According to the National Candle Association:Approximately 35% of candle sales occur during the Christmas/Holiday season. Non-seasonal business accounts for approximately 65% of candle sales.

northkountry
Ours begins in September and usually last until the end of January before we slow down a little again. We have regulars that purchase all year.
Patsy
For me it is the complete opposite, 65% sales for Christmas and 35% for the balance of the year. Mine has already started too, with fundraising bookings and craft show invites.
AmySue
My best candle months are September thru January! Basically the holiday shopping time, however I still do get business the other months just not as much.

Sherl
Mine have been fall through winter.. the months I do the most shows, at least so far. I plan on doing more shows this Spring and have added a web site that I'm hoping gets some traffic and orders, but I still think the holiday season will be my biggest selling time. Scented
Sept. through Nov., but tends to dwindle down after Thanksgiving, though we do a freebie show that we don't have to attend the first week or so in December where funds go to support a shelter.
