ashwini
If i pour the soap into plastic box, or ceramic cup, once it dries, will it come out easily? apart from the moulds avaiable for buying, what else can we use?

If so, you can freeze it for a few minutes and it should pop out. If you're doing CP then you need to line the box with freezer paper
Crafty1_AJ
If you're doing CP, my first "mold" was an empty baby wipes container. Worked great. :rolleyes2
FitMommyOf2
I'm glad you asked; I was about to ask the same question;) I just started getting interested in making soaps and will try M&P first b4 I possibly dare to move on to making soap from scratch. Sara
Once you make a couple batches you'll start to eye things up, seeing if they could be used as molds Drawer organizers (with or without dividers), tupperware / plasticware, baking dishes, silicone bakeware, boxes... most of these things. You usually have to line them though.

Scented
Don't laugh, but what about the stainless steal dog/cat food/water dishes? There's also a stainless steal utensil canister out there. I am beiginning to think that almost anything can be a mold, just as with candles.
