BryCola
I've been selling a good many candles at work and to friends. Eveyone always talks about how great they smell...but I've noticed that the smell is very strong at first, but then after a few weeks, you have to put the candle right up to your nose to smell it. Is that normal? I know with the color, you can add UV to help the color stay, but is there anything like that for the smell? Thanks!
smokymountainraine
For me it's just the top layer of wax. As soon as the wick is lit the scent is as strong as ever.
Georgia
Do you have lids on the jars? As long as I keep them covered or in a bag I don't notice any loss of cold throw.

Georgia
ok, are your pillars in bags? or in plastic boxes (1 scent per box)? The bags should be polypro or the boxes should have a number 5 on the bottom. Sometimes if I have a pillar that I haven't labeled and I forget what scent it is, (God knows I can't smell anything anymore!) I put it in a bag and seal it up for a day. I can definately smell it then and can label.
Scented
Haven't had that problem. Then again, perhaps the additives used help.
