Henryk
I really wanted to finally pour these samples I got from candlewic this weekend and have been doing a bit of research on and off mostly at candlewic's wick chart, but, if some nice folks can share what have been starting-point wicks for 2.5" containers for J50 or J223, and/or Candlewic's CB125 (same meltpoint as CB129) I'd really appreciate it.(Only have a pound of each so really wanted to make the testing count IYKWIM).TIAHenryk
bugtussle
If you have CDs, I would try a 7 or 8 in the 223. Don't know about the other. Carole
Scent Cellar
If you are using zinc wicks you can use a 44-32-18Z in a jar with a 2 1/2 inch diameter using J223 or J50.
Henryk
That is really nice of you guys. Thank you!(I do have sample packs of CDs and Zincs, - plus HTP, RRD, HEMP, LX, and ECOs so I'm pretty well set for testing anyway!)
Fern
Hey Henry...You could try a HTP-31 or 41, or an RRD-29, or an LX-10 or 12 in either J223 or J50, using that size container.
Henryk
Fern - thank you very much!
MasterBaker2
Henry:tiptoe: Not trying to hijack your thread but wondering where to get sample packs of LX's and CD's. I've finally ventured into container candles and the ECO's and HTP's aren't cutting it for me. TIAChris

ChrisR
Henry I used to used CBL125 and had to use LX18, 20 or 24 in that size jar depending on the FO!
briggscandle
You can get sample packs of almost all wicks from Lonestar
