ah-soy
If you sell candles at shows, in your own shop or online what accessories do you carry? I am doing my first show in November (I hope)...two more scents to test in the followingsoy blend container candlessoy blend wickless jarsflower shaped tartsI was thinking of ordering a few good quality UL approved candle warmers OR the combo candle warmers /tart melters and maybe t-lite burners...I have purchased all the accessories for myself and tested my products in them, but just wondering if anyone has experience/suggestions before I order for resale?TIA
Vicky_CO
I sell Burners, Wick dippers, Trimmers, and sometimes votive cups.
Accents
Do the juried shows mind when you sell accessories? I haven't tried adding anything like that yet, figuring they might not let me sell them.
Candybee
I was thinking the same. Some shows will only let you sell handcrafted items and nothing resale that isn't personally made by you. Just check with the show contact first before you buy.
Vicky_CO
Actually most don't I usually send a note in that says the accessories are just for my products and not the main focus of my booth.
Candybee
I'm gonna try that. I have been wanting to sell tart warmers to go with my melts and water bowls for my floating candles..... and maybe some votive holders..... and maybe........ Rebecca
Around here they only let in accessories if they are in a basket.

Accents
Maybe I'll have to ask and give accessories and try sometime. I'd love to be able to offer wick trimmers and tart warmers at least. Thanks!
Jane42
We did notice on the forms that were sent to us that they indicated "only hand made items allowed...no resale". We are also only bringing some tart warmers, jar warmers and votive holders - items that can be used with our products. I guess we will find out if that is a no-no at these shows. ah-soy
Thanks all, I'll check with the show organizers first. Now can anyone recommend a good wholesaler for the trimmers? I've yet to find a good one!
