Crafty1_AJ
Yep, GM soaps have a silky feel and a creamy, dense lather. Glad you tried it!
Scent Cellar
I agree, love the goatmilk soap year round but especially in the wintertime when it is cold and dry outside.

lindsaycb
I have a can og GM sitting here...12oz. I want to make a batch that uses it all up so I don't waste it... Does anyone have a great recipe to share? I've never done liquid GM in soap...HELP!!
Crafty1_AJ
Make a 4 lb. batch of soap. (Your usual recipe should work fine, but if you'd rather, you could use my simple beginner soap recipe posted in the recipe section of this forum.)Assuming the GM is concentrated (you add an equal amount of water to reconstitute), then mix your lye in twelve ounces of water. Proceed to bring your soap batter to trace, then add twelve ounces of the canned, concentrated GM to it. You may want to chill the can ahead of time to help keep the soap from overheating. Pour into the mold, and do not insulate. Milk soaps have a tendency to heat up without much help. lol
Luci
GM is my favorite, too. I thought there was nothing better than L'Occitane shea butter soap till I started buying "homemade" gm soaps.
karenmimi
I make GM soap with a touch of Sweet Almond Oil mixed in and it really leaves your skin feeling silky. My testers (including myself) rave about it.
Soapmaker Man
Goat milk is all I have ever made, since day one almost a year ago now. I started using silk in my gm soap and it is even nicer feeling. LOVE GOAT MILK SOAP!!!
