MasterBaker2
What does corn starch do for these? I see some recipies that call for it and others that don't. Just curious.....TIAETA: We tried several recipies over the weekend and the only one that turned out as far as not activating was the one without. New to the whole B&B thing so lots to learn. Bear with me......I won't always be this ignorant.

MasterBaker2
Thanks for the replies. Not the answer I thought. I figured it was to help hold them together more than anything else.

blazerina
I assumed the cornstarch was needed as the other half of the fizzie reaction caused by citric acid... meaning I thought the Cs and ca reacted to eachother. But I also always kind of wondered, cuz it is not in every recipie.
Bunny
Nope, the reaction is from the baking soda and citric acid.
