kdmorgan
When melting your wax do you heat it to a higher temperature (around 190), add your color and FO and then allow it to cool or do you try to maintain the temp setting once you reach the pour temperature you need. AngelaVA
I heat to about 180 and then add FO/color and cool to 150 to pour. If you add the FO at too low of a temp, it won't incorporate fully
Scented
I'm in the 180-185 range usually.
Jane42
I usually go to 180-185, add FO and color, then down to 175 to pour...this is with 4794 and 1945/4630.
kdmorgan
Thanks everyone...I really appreciate all the help you have given me. I'm sure i'll be laughing at myself in 6 months for some of the silly questions I've asked but I really want to do well.
Jaye
Don't ever think of your questions as being silly, kd! Each and every one of us had questions in the beginning... alot of them probably very similar to yours. Good luck! And most importantly... have fun!
