maryann
FO is Candy Corn, Tarts are a natural votive blend and container (top & bottom layer) 100% Soy w/ a kiss of bee's wax and the middle layer a natural votive blend. I have problems w/ my layers bleeding/blending into each other so I thought I'd try to put a hard wax in the middle layer to see if that stops the problem. :smiley2:
gottabt
Switching waxes may cause issues with the wicking - try pouring a thin layer of white wax between the layers and then doing the next color - it helps contain the bleed.
Lolas Lights
Like the colors. But looks like the middle layer kinda pulled away from the jar a little. JMO:smiley2: Those tarts look good too.
maryann
The whole middle layer is one big "wet spot", I think I got alittle carried away last night, I didn't give it enough time to cool. It was my last candle of the day out of 7 differ candles/tarts I was making. Guess that's what happens when you rush.I made a tester as well as this one, so I can't wait to test to see how it burns (hopefully I won't have any wick issues). Donita
Cute tarts. I like the jar too. I don't know much about them, but I guess you just have to experiment. It is very pretty. Donita
