Scented
I have a so-so scent in the pot (cinnamon forrest) and all detect is cinnamon and pine. Some of you are gagging lol, but what I need is a suggestion of what to use to rev this scent up. I'm looking for a winterishy (ooo new word) scent that does not scream holiday. Any mixer ideas? Crowded House
Sounds like you need a bottom note. What about something in amber or oakmoss?
Meridith
How about orange? Is that an FO from Tennessee? If so, I soaped that one. It turned orange but held strong and didn't morph. I made that soap probably over a year ago and it still smells strong. But as you can tell since I have had it that long, it wasn't a big seller for me. I still like it though. Gaye
I have one that I got from Tenn Candles (closeout oils) and just put it in a soy blend last nite. They told me that it was great when burning but OOB not much. I would try an orange with it to spice it up. Just a thought.
Candlewitch
Orange is used alot in many winter formulas, just for the hell of it, if you have a gagging black cherry type, throw that in one also, you might get lucky.
