chiptooth Posted July 3, 2006 Share Posted July 3, 2006 I purchase my votive/pillar blend from www.atwixend.com It used to be flake form but now it is like a very fine sand. If you follow the directions, when the candles come out of the mold they have a crystalized look to them, almost like the feathered appearance from a palm wax, but the girl I talked to when i questioned my order said it is not a palm wax. It is a granulated parasoy votive/pillar wax that produces a smooth pillar; no crystalline look at all. You can get a rustic finish from it too by using a cold mold and pouring cooler.
