Same batch, I put the sachet in one bathroom and the jar in another. Same size bathrooms. The jar has 2 X more beads than the sachet bag but guess what the sachet bag has a way better throw. AngelaVA Posted July 18, 2005 Share Posted July 18, 2005 I tried the aroma beads in a jelly jar with the open "smelly jelly" lid. I put it in our smallest bathroom and could only smell it when I stuck my nose right over the jar. I now put the beads in sachet bags and then scent throw is much better. I have read where other people can smell the beads up to five feet away (when the beads are in a jar or open dish), but that has never worked for me. Angel2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Share Posted May 23, 2006 aroma beads are better for sachets then the jar but water crystals are the best for the jars i use both and their is big difference to the aroma beads in the jars .hope this helps the water crystals are the best way to go for the jars.
