CareBear
OK, I'm hoping to make it soon. I WILL over-whip it. I always over-whip everything. So it WILL start leaking oil.My question is: once I do that can it be rescued? Can I melt it down and start again (even with salt in there)? Is there something I can add and re-whip?I'm asking now, cause it WILL happen....
Crafty1_AJ
As long as I don't whip past the "double in volume" mark, mine don't fall. Try stopping when it's doubled, or just before that point.
CareBear
I will turn my back, have to pee, the door bell will ring, a pipe will burst - it will happen and I will over-do it!
Crafty1_AJ
Well you can re-whip it if that happens. But I have faith in you! You will NOT let this go past double in volume!
Kaybee23
When mine fell, and it did, LOL!, I did this. I stuck the bowl in some ice water and started scraping the sides with a spatula, until I got it to be a thick consistancy, then stuck it back on the KA and whipped it for about 5 min. So far, it it hasn't fallen or pulled from the sides of the container and this has been a couple of months ago.
