idacandlelady
Just wondering, when you make your labels, do you put the jar size on there or the actual weight of your wax? Hope this makes sense. Just wanted to see what most people do!
Demenshia
I use the weight of the wax....I weigh the empty jar with no lid, then the filled jar with no lid...subtract the difference and that's the weight I list on the label. HTH
sudsnwicks
On the label I put the weight of the wax only. But when I tell people about the candle I use the jar size as it's easier to imagine how big it will be.
Candle Man
Also remember to use an average weight. Say a 8oz JJ holds 6.5oz's but most of the time they weigh between 6 & 6.5oz's then it is better to use 6oz's. By the rules of the label laws you can say it has less than is in there but you can't say it has more than is in there.
