judyvega
When they've been leveled, they will just look flat - not sure what you're looking for? But I'm sure someone will post something for you.
Candle Man
Don't quite understand your question. Do you mean bottoms of pillar candles?
Candlelovr
Yeah, sorry, the bottom of a pillar. Mine are just really really ugly after I level them. Wanted to see some others to see if thats just how it goes or if Im doing something wrong.

eugenia
OK, I took this pic for you before unmolding. I use a small level before the final pour to get the mold perfectly straight and I rarely have to do anything to them (but level in a pan, in the mold, on low heat, if needed). Candlelovr
Cool, thanks E! I noticed you dont have wick pins in your molds! You drill the holes after unmolding? I never can get mine straight..but then again, my wick pins arent straight either. I always have to stick the tip of a knife between the wick pin and mold to keep it centered. Candybee
Eugenia - What do you mean you use a small level? You mean a small amount of repour wax to level the bottom or a levelor of some sort?Sometimes the repout for me is enough to level the bottom-- other times I have to heat the bottom and melt off wax to level it.
