SueH
I finally have about 6 batches of CP soap under my belt and decided to shave the sharp edges off the last batch I made. What do you do with them? I imagine it would take a lot of them for a rebatch or soapballs. Any Suggestions? TIA!!
Scent Cellar
I add my colored shavings to another batch of soap and call it confetti soap. It's prettier when you have shavings of a couple different colors. I add the shavings at light trace and pour into mold.
friendlyMOM
that is a very cool idea to do with the shavings, bet they looked very nice too.
Kaybee23
You could also put them in a little dish in the bathroom by the sink, kinda like an air freshener. People could also use the little shreads from the dish to wash their hands.
xsami3000x
(disclaimer I only do m&p) I put my shavings into a little cup by the kitchen sink to use after I finish cleaning up. They aren't as drying as the liquid ivory I wash dishes with.Sami

Jcandleattic
I either do a couple batches of confetti soap, soap balls or put them by the sink in a little soap dish bowl for both decoration and use, or I turn them into a liquid goo using water, borax and a little more lye and use it as a household cleaner. Cleans just as good as the orange spray cleaner a lot of people clean with. By doing this the only household cleaner I still buy is a window cleaner that I can get from my hubs work for next to nothing. lol
cmspath
When I am triming my bars, I take the shavings and make small soap balls to give away to my customers as samples
