quietgirl2004
Im testing a new wax(Ky parasoy) in a 16 oz apothecary. widest point is like 3 3/4". Can this jar be single wicked? Or will it need to be double wicked? Any suggestions?
Raggedy Dani
in my experience i've had to double wick.....i've been told you can use the big wick...i think HTP 126 would work.i may be wrong.maybe someone with more experience will come along. hugsDani
Grannyscandles
I serioulsly doubt it K. I would just find teh two smallest wicks that will do the job..starting with CD 10's or the equivalent.

Sab
Double wicking apothecary jars using Parasoy blend was my project over the weekend. I was successful at wicking an 8 oz with two LX 12's and a 16 oz with two HTP 72's. The LX's burned to the edge on the first burn cycle. The HTP's took two cycles to catch up. I've only tried the HTP's on one FO though.Kaybee had some great advice for me that you can find here: http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23229HTHSab
quietgirl2004
Thank you everyone. I tried 2- HTP83 yesterday and it almost got a full melt pool with an apple pie scent. I will see if it catches up today.Kathy
