elitenaildesign Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Well, they didnt turn out as bad as I thought. They looked horrible in the beginning. I thought it would be one solid blob of color. The mica was purple, but it turned out rasberry. I need some practice cutting. Next time i will definatley use less soap to make my color swirls. I think I used 1 cup for 4lbs of soap. Anyway, they are lavender scented. Quote
heirloomoriginals Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 They look great! I still can't swirl like that I have made quite a few batches.Steph Quote
hewells Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 That looks awesome, and color guaging seems to come with more and more practice so keep up the good work!!! Quote
magsglass Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 WTG, Jennie! It looks awesome! I dunno, I think the amount of swirls you have looks great. But that's just my opinion. Quote
SuzieE Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Jennie I think they are BEAutiful. I am loving your swirls. I don't think it is too much color at all. Quote

elitenaildesign Posted May 8, 2006 Author Posted May 8, 2006 Thanks everyone. Its nice to hear positive remarks considering, the soaps still are not as nice as I wanted. Holy cow it took forever to clean up all the cups, pot, and utencils. I cant wait to make my batch for the challenge. Quote
jwahlton Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 My first soap sure didn't look like that. Great job :highfive: Quote
