Jooniper
I wan to make some of the purdy pillars! I have been a soy container wax user for years and recently delved into "the blend". Anyway...I want to make some rustics, swirlies, layered, mottled...you know...all those beautiful candles I see on the galleries. Since I was told I cannot do this with a veggie wax...which wax is recommended by the pros? I have seen the IGI 1343 mentioned on this board but was wondering if there are other opinions out there. Thanks!!
7Angela7
I think that 1343 would be the most versatile if you want to do those types of pillars.
Alohagirl
Right now I'm liking IGI 1274 better than 1343. Even though it's a mottling wax, I find it makes nice chunkies, rustics and embeds too. According to the manufacturer, it can hold more FO than 1343.
TMeeks
I just got a sample of 1274 yesterday and I love it... Esp. if you are wanting to make the mottled candles. They have come out perfect everytime! I use the 1343 for my rustics.
Trish
I use 1343 and have great luck with my mottles and rustics!
Guest ShellyRobyn
1343 is great for versatility but my most favorite is Mot38!!!
Scented
Prefer the 1343, but would put M38 next and then the 1274 lol. Would rather not fill up the rest of my apt. with candlemaking stuff. The kitchen and 1/2 of the living room really is enough lol! Ooops forgot most of the hallway.
