Candle Man Posted April 20, 2006 Share Posted April 20, 2006 Use a wire brush, there are many sizes to choose from. Each can make a light or fine pattern to a heavy & thick pattern. Just expermint with with a brush you like.The way I do it is brush in one direction either top to bottom or bottom to top all the way around also brush the top. This will take practice and you will learn, over time, how much pressure to apply. Try and keep as straight of brush marks as possible. Then brush away the crumbs with a soft paint brush. Repete brushing around the candle then brush off crumbs. Then sit the candle on a cookie sheet and using a heat gun lightly wave the gun while turning the cookie sheet to melt the haze left from the brushing. Don't leave the gun in one spot to long or get the gun to close to the candle to avoid runs & drips. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
