Elyse
This is a palm blend poured at 180 following supplier's recommendations into a 4" aluminum mold. Scented citrus. It looks diseased! LOL Wasn't worthy of a wick IMO.Guess next time I'll try hotter....resizedpillar.JPGI've never posted a pic... I guess this is how you do it. Mozzie
That may not be how you wanted it to look but I like it. Stick in a wick and burn it anyway. BTW, I'd love to know how the Citrus fo burns - do you get the notorious "fuel" smell?
Candle Makin Momma
I love it!! It is very neat looking! I love for candles to look unique
Elyse
Yeah, my nose is stuffy today, but it's not smellin all that great. About as good as it looks. :rolleyes2 A citrus I really love, though, that I haven't gotten that fuel smell with is Sweet Serendipity from Scented Bean. Love it! It's grapefruit with black currant. Candle Man
Sure looks different than the palms I've seen.I did not know there was a palm blend. What do you think the blend is? To me it looks like palm and soy. I thought there were just different types of palm with different finishes like feather etc.
pixie*dust
I know its not what you were expecting or wanting, butI love it, the pattern reminds me of a turtle shell. Very very pretty!pix
Corence
when I glanced at it, the first thought that came to my mind was a sand dollar??? it's unique.
cindym
Put a wick in it, some glass beads or sea shells around it, it is a materpiece. I think it looks great.
SheilaW
I like it! That affect does look like it has soy added to it or that the wax wasn't quite hot enough when you poured it. I am experimenting adding soy to container palm to try to eliminate the dreaded air caverns and it does indeed work except that it took away 90% of the crystal look so back to the drawing board for me but your candle is very pretty. Smokin'Hot
I really like it! Isn't it funny how just when we think a candle should be thrown back into the pot, everyone else likes it?!?! Wick it, burn it, enjoy it!
