Clamshells

I found out what clamshells were yesterday. Can some one tell me how they work?

Do you pour the wax right in or do you use a break-apart tart mould?

Is there a metal film over the back to stop them falling out..if so, how do you stick it down...if not - do you sell your tarts in the clamshell or out of it?

Not stupid at all. You pour the wax directly into the clamshell container. Then after it cools a bit, close the lid and you're done. Clamshells tarts are sold in the plastic container. They are really easy to do and easy to label. Do a search on here if you need more info. We have talked about this a lot on here :)
