CallawayCandle
Has anyone tried this scent? I like BBW Red Currant and Thyme Tea. Was wondering if is might be close. TIA for your input.
DENISE72598
Hi Heather,Captivatingly Currant is very strong. When I first poured it up, I was using 1oz per lb and it was overpowering, like too much. I have since cut back to 3/4oz per lb and it is much more tolerable. It is very sweet, no tart at all. Kinda reminds me a little of mulberry...ish. HTH Also...to me no herbal notes in this FO. -Denise

whiffandsniff
I heard she was getting a scent like the one from BBW in very soon. I could be wrong though!
Michi
It's definitely nothing like BB&W. Denise is right, is super sickening (to me anyway) sweet. I thought I liked it OOB, but then I put it in some body spray (thank goodness I only did 2oz.) and I barely sprayed a tiny bit on my hand, and had to wash it off. It''s just not my kind of fragrance I guess. :undecided I LOVE the red currant from Peak though it is WAAAAAY different than this. moniek
I have just recieved a 1 oz sample of this. I put 1 oz in j223 wax. I didnt like it at first, the more I smelled of it the better I like it. It smells refreshing to me, not clean, but refreshed! Have not burned yet.
