Lori Reismeier
Hi everyone,Hope you're all having a better day than me....J50 wax and a FMP are driving me crazy. I'm using a 16 oz. apothecary container.. J50 wax honeysuckle scent. I've used wicks HTP 104, 51-32-18z, 62-52-18z, 60-44-18z and after 4+ hours still no FMP.Also, do you trim your wicks to 1/4" while they are burning (blow out, trim, then quickly relight, of course?) Otherwise, I get the black smoke happening. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
Tara
Not to ruin your day any more but I have never been able to single wick j50 in that size jar with zinc wicks although I know others have. Just didn't work for me. I went to double wicking. Can't help you with the htp's
Crafty1_AJ
Yeah, I can't single wick a jar that size either. Too wide. I double wick. Only way I can get clean burn w/ no wax hangup on the sides of the jar.
Trish
Same here. No way could I single wick that jar!
jenniejr
Me too! I couldn't single wick that jar to save my life!
AngelaVA
Hate to sound repetitive, but I would double-wick that jar. I just couldn't get a good burn with a single-wick.
