moniek
Does anyone use this wax for votives? Is it a good wax for votives? I am using astor v for votives right now, was just wondering if the 4045 wax is good for votives to.

topofmurrayhill
Sure, you can use practically any moldable wax. However, the Astor V is a preblend and 4045H is straight paraffin. You'll want to use a little Vybar or something along those lines to optimize the fragrance retention. You can also use it with only stearic to make mottled votives. Donita
I save all of those little scraps of wax in my pots of 4045H and make my "party votives".....most of them are mottled. Donita
