LaurieF
Anybody out there familiar with the Greenfield Village in Michigan? There is a candle shop where they make the hand dipped candles and I have always LOVED the smell in that place. I don't know what it is...if they used oils or what. I'm thinking they used beeswax because they didn't have paraffin back then, I don't know but I wish I could capture that scent.

Grumpy Girl
Oh man, when I was a kid growning up, that was my all time FAVORITE place to go on family or school trips. I love Greenfield Village.
Marisa
No problem, isnt it sad that when you live somewhere you dont visit it as often as those who live far away from it??!! Just like krispy creme, we would drive an hour and a 1/2 to go to one several years ago .then we got one about 3 blocks from our house and we only went 2 times the whole year!! lol
hewells
I believe it is just the natural beeswax honey sent, you can purchase a pair of candles that they make there on their website under the section of Greenfield Village Crafts..they are $6.00 a pair. You could use them to compare the scent, they dip those candles like 40 times. Here is the link:http://www.shopthehenryford.org/
Lorrie
I agree I believe it is beeswax too. I love the sweet smell of beeswax candles. I made some rolled beeswax candles and they have that same exact smell that Greenfield Village has.
