Smokin'Hot
Here is the Feather Palm wax I think it's 5801 from BC. The blue one is a 3.5 x 4 pillar with a LX 24 wick, the yellow one is a 2 x 3 pillar with LX12 Raw wick. Obviously the wicks are too big, but I also found this wax to be difficult to work with. It's very hard not to get overpour on these because the wax shrinks away from the mold very quickly.:undecided Just my opinion. I prefer the granite wax. celicagtca
I use a 36 flat braid on the 3" dia., palm pillars. Works like a charm.
jenniejr
I haven't had too much trouble with the palm pillars. It's the votives that are killing me!! I can't find a wick that will create a full melt pool instead they all burn down the center or drown out! Don't give up though.
SheilaW
I can tell you now that finding a wick for the 2" palm pillars is going to be tough. I tried soo many and finally had to put them away for awhile due to extreme frustration.

jaylynne
I have had luck using RRD 50's in the 3 inch pillars and RRD 29's in the votives. The 47's tunneled and the 55's blew out the sides. So far so good with the 50's and 29's.

drfeu
I've used LX14 with votives with good results.
JudyN
Both types of wax. What size wick do you use for a 4" pillar? Also, I've read that aluminum molds work better with the palm wax - is this correct?

I believe YOU......now that I have some 36 flat braid, I don't have any palm wax left......guess I will have to try it again....should have checked with you a long long long time ago Donita
