pdevine
What is your all time favorite tealight wick? I have tried several with several different waxes and can't which I really want to stick with. TIA Portia
JudyN
I was wondering about this myself. My other question with regard to tea-light wick is can you use the same wick as with votives? Also, would the same wick work with plastic and/or metal tea-lights or do they need to be wicked differently. I'm just hoping for a starting point. I only have plastic tea-light cup, but was wondering if the metal would be the same. TIA.
FragileXmom
I haven't poured tea lights yet but have been thinking about it. All I make so far is votives. When and if I try tea lights I was thinking I would start with a 36z or Lx10
pdevine
I'm glad I'm not the only one wondering about these. I have tried the 36z and it ended up too hot and mushroomed something aweful. I recently tried the S-330 TC's but they are just a tad bit too small, so I am needing something just a tad bit larger. Will keep searching I guess. SheilaW
I use the tealight wicks from Candle Science. Size according to which wax and fo I'm using.
7Angela7
I use TL-15 wicks, they mushroom but hold up. I thought the 34-40Z wicks did good, I just didn't want to use zinc. The LX-8 did not do well for me, they just flopped over & burned through the plastic cup.I've tested both the metal & plastic cups & use the same size wick for both. Trae
I use CD-3's. Only one that worked with every scent I carry.
