Trish Posted February 7, 2006 Share Posted February 7, 2006 If this is your very first container, I would suggest not adhering a wick at all so you can test wicks. When you're ready to burn, use a skewer to poke a hole in the wax and insert a wick to test. If it's not working, grab some needle nose pliers, yank it out and try another wick. Trust me, this will save you a big headache in the long run (well, part of a headache anyway...testing wicks is still a huge headache!) I agree, don't adhere them to the bottom until you are pretty certain about it being the correct wick/wicks. I also hot glue mine to the bottom.
