Healing Balm…

I figured out how I wanted to use the beeswax I rendered… an Emu Oil & Beewax healing balm! I remembered there was a bee keeper at one of the farmers markets I used to do (when I had the jam company) and my used to love the healing balm they made. I also love emu oil so I thought why not try my own?

I absolutely love it and it’s working wonders. I had cut on my hand from a semi-bike crash. It’s been taking forever to heal because it’s in a crease. Since I started using it there’s been a noticeable difference in how fast it’s finally healing!

I just made a balm with calendula infused fco.  I like it but kinda greasy feeling.  yours doesnt look greasy at all.  I will have to try some bees wax.

It doesn’t feel greasy to me at all and it absorbs really quickly.

Here’s what I used…

  • 17 grams Emu Oil
  • 12 grams Shea Butter
  • 10 grams Olive Oil (calendula infused)
  • 6 grams Beeswax
  • 5 drops Lavender Essential Oil
  • 4 drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil
  • 4 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
