Kris10Tackles
A fried if mine had a hive in the walls of her house. A bee keeper came out and long story short she now has a lot of honey and bees wax. She offerened up to me so I thought why not learn something new. Once I clean it, how should I use it?
TallTayl
Depending on how clean it gets a votive might be fun. Or some lip balm.

Kris10Tackles
Well I have the honey, bee bits, and most of the other debris separated. It still needs more filtering but I’m out of cheesecloth. Should I melt the wax in water again and then strain or just the wax? I also remembered that my solid lotion bar uses bees wax and so I think that’s what I’ll use this for. TallTayl
I usually wet render with water more than once. I let the wax cool into a disk on top of the extra water. The more you render, the more the scent dissipates since the honey washes away.
