TallTayl
Anyone know the material type of the spout bag Brambleberry uses for 5 lb fragrance purchases? I’ve asked customer service but have not heard back. Those bags are so handy for shipping and storage.
Cross-stitch
Hmm. Are they ones that Brambleberry just gives to you, or do you purchase them? I'm afraid that I don't see them on their website...
TallTayl
If you order 5 lbs of fragrance the oil comes in these bags instead of bottles. Was a bit unnerving to see what appeared to be a urine bag in a shipping carton, but they worked well and saved a lot of $$ on shipping. Their soap oils sometimes come in them too, like when they offered preblends. You can boil or microwave the bags, pretty brilliant. They used to sell them in 2 sizes but discontinued a while ago. BenderSF
Yeah, I like those bags. I've got some Brambleberry olive and palm oils in those bags. I stumbled across them (or something similar) at Uline a while ago:https://www.uline.com/BL_3480/Spouted-Stand-Up-Barrier-Pouches WSP carries something similar too, 12 oz or 20 oz:https://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/products/heat-seal-spout-bag-12-ounce-clear.aspxhttps://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/products/heat-seal-spout-bag-20-ounce-clear.aspx Edited June 18, 2023 by BenderSF
TallTayl
For this I think we will need to do a lot of testing. impak replied with these two: Below are the options for our PAKVF6NISL material: 16oz : https://www.impakcorporation.com/FTSSP500CSISL32oz: https://www.impakcorporation.com/FTSSP1000CSISLBelow are the options for our PAKPNBW material:32oz: https://www.impakcorporation.com/SP1LBW77oz: https://www.impakcorporation.com/SP2KGBW @BenderSF I wish those descriptions were more detailed. Some are thin walled, and not all of the bag materials I just learned are suitable for fragrance. if given the choice, I think I want the kind to fill through the spout and not worry about heat sealing. What do you think?

Sorry, I should have mentioned in my original post: I have not used these (or anything similar). I had just seen them online so thought I'd pass on the info.

Hopefully brambleberry replies with the material so we can at least know where to start testing.
