Hello everyone! My name is Anand, I’m about to turn 68 in another month and I’m about to launch my company, SpaScentuals Studio, after being away from ‘making’ for several years. I live in coastal NC. I was motivated to re-enter the world of creating for a couple of reasons - I recently lost my job due to downsizing & don’t have a retirement cushion because my late husband’s lengthy illness completely wiped us out and hey - no one can afford to live on SS these days; my younger friend lost her husband recently very unexpectedly and needed a way to supplement her income and support herself and two boys and I thought this could help her out; I am a creator at heart and missed doing that; and I really wanted to create products that were safe, natural and as organic as possible while providing a luxury experience at affordable price points. 
We make bath and body products as well as candles, which will be our foundation, but I’m looking forward to venturing into cosmeceuticals once the foundation business is firmly established. Time will tell if that will be a viable avenue to pursue. I’m happy to be here!
