TallPineCandles
A 464 question. Seems I am getting ALOT of wet spots in my candles. Heard there are like a bagillion ways to cure this. Is heating the vessel prior to pouring really work or is there a place I can buy a magic wand to wave over the top of my vessels to stop this??? ;). bfroberts
I don't use 464 but......wet spots can occur at any time due to environmental factors, and there is nothing in the world you can do about it. For the best adhesion initially, what works for me is to clean the jars well prior to use and heat them prior to pour. Still, even if you do manage to get perfect adhesion, wet spots can occur at any time afterwards and you are powerless against them. Do not worry about them. Customers do not care. NightLight
You can try softening your wax to see if it will adhere better. Heating jars etc won’t work, if the wax is too hard. It will shrink and you will get wet spots. If you don’t want wet spots switch to C3 and work it.
