Hopie Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 I know that some of you are also pouring/experimenting with parasoy wax. The wax I have chosen is 52% soy and 48% paraffin. I was wondering how long you are curing this wax? I am still going with the two week curing time, but does anyone cure them for less time, due to the paraffin content? If so, what are your results? Is it a two week cure time due to the fact that it has ANY soy content? I am curious as to what everyone else has found in this regard. Quote
lightmyfire Posted July 16, 2018 Posted July 16, 2018 I use 6006 parasoy and I definitely go with the 2 week rule of thumb. With some scents it's even 3 weeks to get the best possible CT and HT. Quote
Forrest Posted July 16, 2018 Posted July 16, 2018 I go with two weeks, it seems to work better for me, used to only wait one week. Quote
runner14jc Posted July 16, 2018 Posted July 16, 2018 Minimum of one week but the fragrance absolutely develops the longer the candles cure so 2+ weeks can be helpful! Quote
Hopie Posted July 16, 2018 Author Posted July 16, 2018 That's what I was thinking....stick with the two week cure. I just wondered what you all did as far as the parasoy. 1 Quote
