Should hot throw be consistent throughout the burn?

Or, in a properly wicked candle, would the hot throw get weaker as the candle burns down. I ask this because this might be another way to judge the quality of my candles.

IME the fragrance stays the same or intensifies the further down it burns.

I agree with TT. Mine tend to get a little stronger the farther down the candle burns. Not always, but if it's not a dud fo, and the candle is wicked properly the throw will never diminish the farther down it goes.

Thank you both, that helps a lot. My over wicked 11oz tureen started off with great hot throw but faded as it burned.
