Jcandleattic Posted October 27, 2017 Share Posted October 27, 2017 I don't typically use soy, however I would imagine that a 1-2 week cure time for tarts would make it throw much better than just a 1 day cure. Moonstar Posted October 27, 2017 Share Posted October 27, 2017 When you say soy melts do you mean all soy or a blend with mostly soy ? Personally, I haven't had great success with all soy melts. They do need a super long cure especially for certain scents, such as Pink sugar. I found that PS IMO needed at least 1 month. Which soy wax are you using for melts right now ? moonshine Posted October 27, 2017 Share Posted October 27, 2017 I have found Soy needs to cure in melts the longer they sit the better they throw you can get throw after a day or two but like a fine wine it's better aged I tried a new pillar wax and almost ditched it because I wasn't impressed after a couple days - threw another in warmer weeks later and my eyes are watering Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
