GoldieMN
I've never felt the need to double wick a candle. If you find one wick that works for throw but the jar gets a little hot, would two smaller wicks keep the jar from getting as hot? The goal would be a good hot throw and good melt pool but cooler jar. Goldie
Trappeur
Yes Goldie that most definitely works for me. But of course, you could go with a completely different style wick and test like that. I know I should do that, but don't. I like Cd's and htp's. I know they curl in the beginning but they do work really quite nice. For example the country comfort jar a cd 20 or 22 can work...Now sometimes the 22 struggles too much so I now use 2 cd 4's. And the jars are easy to handle.
