Old Bike
I have been making Tea Lite candles but I find it tricky to use the pouring pot without spilling the wax as I move from container to container. Has any one come up with a better method. Thank you for reading this. Any and all suggestions are most welcome
TallTayl
Move the little tea light cups as close to the edge of the counter as possible. Lower the pour pot so the lip is barely above the cup edge as you pour. Keep a paper towel hand to wipe drips that collect on the spout to prevent surface tension from pulling wax in a funny direction as you pour. grama
Like TallTayl says but I also use my small pour pot with a small amount of wax in it, to full and it spills to easily.
Chefmom
I use a little 20 ounce pot that is sold for espresso makers. It's the little pot they heat and froth the milk in. I keep my wax in a large regular pour pot, keep it at the right temp in a hot water bath and then fill the little pot to pour the tea lights. Clear Black
Would a turkey baster work? You may need to take a heat gun to it every so often to melt the wax that has cooled on the side walls...but if it were me I would try that. Would be a fun experiment anyways
