karinz40
I make tarts for myself and family and use a 50/50 of 6006 and 4625 but have read people using C-3 for candles and get great scent throw. Will C-3 wok for melts?
kandlekrazy
I use straight C3 and have for years it works just fine. I use it in clamshells and also in molds. Edited June 18, 2016 by kandlekrazy
karinz40
molds meaning tarts? Is it a harder wax even if it is soy?
lmc
Imo, it's not a harder soy...it's typical. If you'd like the tarts to pop out of molds, it's a good idea to mix it with a pillar wax.
kandlekrazy
Just made more tarts in metal molds and my room was about 68 degrees and I pulled at the sides of the molds slightly and they popped right out. Silicone molds they come right out as well. I've never really had a problem unmolding them unless it was really hot in my candle room and then I popped them in the freezer for 5 mins and unmolded.
