ThisLittleLightOfMine
I am wondering what everyone does for their standard cure time before testing? I am using igi 4627 for containers and a mixed 4627 and 4625 for clam melts. TIA
pcbrook
For paraffin I think a week would be good enough. For soy I know the standard is 2 weeks. I think sometimes it also depends on the FO. Some take longer than others! I use palm for my candles and I like to let them cure 2 weeks if possible. For my melts I use 4786 and I try to give them a 1 week cure time! ChrisR
I test within 24 hours and if the FO isn't strong enough I find one that is. My customers are never gonna wait a week or more before they use their candles or melts. There are way too many good FO's out there to wait to get a strong scent throw.
