Soy Tealights

Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone,

I would like to try making soy tealights, presently I use EZ Soy for my containter candles. Does anyone have experience using this wax for tealights? Also, what wick would you use. I use cotton wicks in the containers. Thanks for your help.

I use either container OR votive, doesn't matter, whichever I'm pouring. I make my tealights out of the "left over" wax when I'm pouring whatever it is I'm pouring at that time. I use the standard wicks and the plastic see-thru cups. I wrap them in shrink wrap & take about a sec to shrink em. I sell mine for 4 for a $1. (Since they're left over wax, I don't have much investment in them). I also have some that I label as "tye dye" which are the misc mixed scents/colors. HTH
