jfields
Hello Everyone,I would like to try making soy tealights, presently I use EZ Soy for my containter candles. Does anyone have experience using this wax for tealights? Also, what wick would you use. I use cotton wicks in the containers. Thanks for your help.Jennifer:highfive:

Sharon in KY
I use container soy in t-lites and it works great. The LX 8 is what I use...hth
Jeana
Have you tried any of the 700 series wicks? I've been really happy with their wick number 700 in my tealights. I don't use ez soy though. But these wicks are the only ones I found that work for me.
jfields
I have not dealt with 700 series wicks yet. However, I thank all of you for your comments and suggestions. Atleast now I have a clue on how to proceed. Happy Candle Making!Jennifer
daniedb
I use the EZ in the little 1 oz tins from WalMart - I wick them with the normal cheapy tealight wicks and I love the way they burn.
CelestialSoyCandles
Thanks - I was going to ask the same question.. I was just going to use the "tealight wicks" myself... Heather
ACC
I use either container OR votive, doesn't matter, whichever I'm pouring. I make my tealights out of the "left over" wax when I'm pouring whatever it is I'm pouring at that time. I use the standard wicks and the plastic see-thru cups. I wrap them in shrink wrap & take about a sec to shrink em. I sell mine for 4 for a $1. (Since they're left over wax, I don't have much investment in them). I also have some that I label as "tye dye" which are the misc mixed scents/colors. HTH
