  1. Hello Everybody, I recently purchased the sample bottles of White Willow and Tea and Sea Storm from Indiana Supply. I added them to my EZSoy wax at 170 degrees and poured at 100. I burned them four days after and did not get a decent throw. Is anyone familiar with these two scents. If so, how was your scent throw? Thanks, Jennifer:D
  2. I am in Indianapolis, but I am starting to get quite a few customers in the Cincinnati area that I ship to. Do I charge them sales tax? And if so, is it the tax rate for Ohio? Thanks, Jennifer
  3. I agree with Bugtussle. I love WSP's version, and so do my customers. Jennifer
  4. The FO is April Fresh Downey and the wax is EZSoy. I will try what you said concerning the wax without the FO. Thanks Jennifer
  5. Hello Everyone, thanks for replying. Yes, the oil is yellow. I also marked on a white piece of paper with the color chip, and it looks to be a light grayish-blue color. Jennifer
  6. Has anyone had trouble with the Colonial Blue color chips from WSP? I used mine for the first time a couple of days ago, and it turned my wax green. Thanks in advance. Jennifer
  7. Debbie, How did your Teddy Bears turn out? I picked mine up yesterday. Jennifer
  8. Hello Everyone, I am using EZSoy and was wondering which wick size was best for the 8 and 16 oz. Apothecary jar. I use CD wicks, and CD-14 is not satisfactory, so I was thinking of trying CD-16. I would appreciate any words of wisdom from those who have gone down this road before. Thanks in advance for all of your help. Jennifer
  9. BizzyB, Take a look at the Opportunity Buys website below. They are a wholesaler and have about six selections of Tart Warmers to choose from. I hope you find what you're looking for. Jennifer http://www.obiwholesale.com/

  11. Has anyone used the 9 oz. Teddy Bear Jars from The Candlemaker's Store? What is the diameter of the jar? I thought they were really cute, and I was trying to get an idea of what wick to use with them. Jennifer
  12. I have never tried WSPs Pink Sugar, but I did try their Very Sexy for Men in my EZSoy, and couldn't smell a thing after four hours. I was very disappointed. I also tried BCNs In the Mood, and once again, I could not smell a thing after four hours. Both of these candles had a four day cure time.
  13. Are you using Chai in Soy wax? I am using EZSoy and was thinking about trying it. Jennifer:yay:
  14. I have not dealt with 700 series wicks yet. However, I thank all of you for your comments and suggestions. Atleast now I have a clue on how to proceed. Happy Candle Making! Jennifer
  15. Hello Everyone, I would like to try making soy tealights, presently I use EZ Soy for my containter candles. Does anyone have experience using this wax for tealights? Also, what wick would you use. I use cotton wicks in the containers. Thanks for your help. Jennifer :highfive:
  16. I agree with Chris R. concerning Pheasant Pluckers FOs. I am in the process of test burning my soy candles, which have cured for a week, and have not been able to smell anything unless I was directly over the candle. The fragrances I am testing are Vanilla and Patchouli. Yesterday, I had the Patchouli (8 1/2 oz. Hurricane) burning in my room for approximately four hours, and didn't smell a thing. However, I did put the Patchouli in my daughter's room today, then closed the door. After about 11/2 hours, I was able to detect a very light scent. Today, I have been burning the Vanilla (6 oz. Hexagon) for two hours and can't smell anything. I have good melt pools in both. So, I must say that Pheasant Pluckers, in my opinion was a waste of money. I use FOs from Wholesale Supplies Plus, Inc. and have had no problem. I am also testing a Peppermint fragrance from them which has cured for five days and the throw is very good. But, I do believe I will try some of the Just Scents products as well.
