Candybee
Anybody tried a sunflower FO in their CP? I'm looking for one for my sunflower oil soap. Thanks.
rctfavr3
Sunflowers don't impart a heavy or even noticeable smell, at least, not a floral aroma. Wing it!!! Try a blend of Neroli + Jasmine with a strong Sandalwood.
Sonoma Roses
Sunflower from WSP is very nice and strong, however it moves super fast, you would want to soap like many florals and go full water.
Candybee
Thanks. I have no problem with a fast mover and the recipe I am using is a slow tracer anyway.
Candybee
I'm rethinking my soap and think I should stick with a tried and true fragrance I love. Fillmore Containers Daffodils. Its a beautiful scent and soaps nice without problems or fading. I could name the soap sunflower & daffodil. I plan to feature sunflower oil in it, both high oleic and regular. I just love sunflower oil in soap. Its so skin softening.
