barncat
Ugh...too many people are asking for these. So need to start making them again. How much are you all asking? I was charging $1.25 ea for them before and that was 7-8 years ago.
mystic sowles
They say to calculate all your cost in materials, time, packaging, etc then x3. I think you need to consider your location, competition etc. People where I live have no qualms paying $$$ for candles at Walmart or the dollar stores. So competing with those types of stores is tough. We have a couple local Candle shops-Yankee Candle, Adirondack Candles which do mainly votives and jars. Yankee has the basic tart melts, and Adirondack has Aroma Shots. Hence this is why I chose to branch out and do Specialized melts. They are unique to my area so I have no competition on them. I also do the Aroma Bead Sachets and Air Fresheners--again Unique to my area. If you have a high request you should be able to sell them at a decent price. Vicky_CO
When I quit selling them I sold them for $2.50 apiece but I always had a buy more deal in place. Truthfully it is about cost and your area.
