Marion
I made a 14 oz candle and a 6 oz tin, proportional same FO and wick appropriate for the containers. The 14 oz great HT,but not the 6oz tin, what could that be,wrong wick ?
rjdaines
You don't give us much to work with in terms of details. Did the tin have a melt pool?
TallTayl
The container material (glass versus tin) and depth both make huge differences in how a cintainer candle will burn.
Marion
The melt pool was good,I have three different candle FO burning, same thing, the jar candles have a way better HT than the tins.Maybe I have to use a higher % for the tins. moonshine
I don't think increasing your FO is going to help-Like Talltayl posted- your using a different container which makes a difference in how it throws- it can't be compared to a totally different container- so try a different wick size or type and see if you can get it to throw stronger but keep in mind it's much smaller than your jar which means a smaller melt pool which means it's not going to throw as strong as your jar
