  1. It sells good in soap, never made a candle.I also mix it with patchouli for perfume rollers and call it sweet patchouli.

  3. Looking for a good lavender FO for 464 soy wax. Thank you
  4. I use, lavender, grapefruit ,peppermint, bergamot and chamomile EO in lip balm, no problems.
  5. I'm trying to wick a RE marijuana FO candle in a mason jar.I went up to a HTP 1212 wick and hardly get a melt pool, super low flame. The CD 14 same thing.I use 464 Golden soy, no color. Did anybody try to wick that FO ?
  6. I wait 3 to 4 days for the first test burn, like right now, I'm burning Santa's whiskers, warm vanilla nutmeg and salsa cranberry from RE and it is amazing, cold and hot throw. But I had candles not giving me a HT at all, like Essence of Jesus from RE and I was bummed, because the CT is so nice. After 2 weeks, I gave it another try and turned out to be a great HT.I'm curing a patchouli saffron+patchouli EO candle and for that I'm waiting patiently a few more days.
  7. My friend is making beany bags, using sport teams (fabric) from various teams. Does she needs a permission from these teams to make these bags?
  8. I'm thinking to get a wine cutting machine, to make recycled wine tumblers.I'm in love with the look. Are any of you, making those ? What do you think?
  9. I'm in love with WSP sugared spruce. But they are so outrageously expensive, I really like RE FO's as well. They also have a sugared spruce.Anybody has any input maybe how they compare ?
  10. I have just discovered RE a while ago and I'm already in love and going to be broke. So far I have used Celtic moonspice lemon verbena toasted marshmallow apples & oats ( love this one!) lilac for candles testing xmas bliss xmas past macintosh apple amish quilt ( smells almost exactly like celtic moonspice) sea kelp ( love it OOB)
  11. The melt pool was good,I have three different candle FO burning, same thing, the jar candles have a way better HT than the tins.Maybe I have to use a higher % for the tins.
  12. I made a 14 oz candle and a 6 oz tin,proportional same FO and wick appropriate for the containers.The 14 oz great HT,but not the 6oz tin,what could that be,wrong wick ?
  13. I started testing my 464 soy wax with great success,I use them in 16 oz blue mason jars, but only fill them up 14 oz.I use 10% FO, most of them from Rustic Escentuals.Great HT,CT with HTP 104 & 105 wicks.I let the test candles cure between 2 or 3 days. The 6 oz tins right now are testing for HTP 105 and CD 12.Will see.
  14. How do you figure out, when to use more than one wick?
  15. Wondering, since I have never sold candles to the public, what do people like ? Are baking FO's desirable all year around ?
  16. I tested 104 and 105 HTP wicks for GW 464 ( 16 oz mason jar) .They both perform the same, should I go with the 104 smaller one?
  17. Thanks,I'm making candles on and off for many years, but never sold them.I was terrified of the testing, but now I have received my 500 jars and I need to test.
  18. I'm back to candle making and started testing. If I make 16 oz candle, do I have to test for the full amount of 16 oz or can I use less, to not have so much wax wasted ? I tested two candles already and burnt them 4 times for 4 hours each time and still have plenty of wax left. Thank you.
  19. I'm testing 6 oz tins, I love the size between 4 and 8 oz.I'm testing HTP 83 and I think I have to go a size bigger, I'm using Golden 464 soy.
  20. Hi,I'm back making candles. I was wondering any good suggestions for wicks for the Golden 464 soy wax in 6 oz tins? I'm about to order.I have the Eco 10's already, trying some CSN 14's, maybe go up one wick on ECO 10, since I use higher FO's %. Thank you and I'm excited
  21. I wanted to get the 10 sampler from MC, I just read they want you to use 1.5 oz instead of the 1 oz, is it true or can I just stick with the 1 oz and still get the same result??? Thanks Marion:yay:
