Darbla
Is there really anything special about it that trumps any other soap? I get that it's organic and that's nice, but I personally don't think our usual soaps are particularly dangerous. There are whole blog posts about all the neat stuff you can use Dr. Bronner's soap for, but it just seems like all hype. Couldn't any liquid soap do that?http://wildflowerbotanicals.wordpress.com/2010/11/02/18-uses-for-dr-bronners-soaps/
soapbuddy
Nothing special. Also, if you look at the ingredient list, it's not castile. To me, castile is just olive oil. It has coconut oil in it. It's the power of creative advertising. Most people off the street don't know the difference.
Darbla
By the time you replied I had read more and decided that. Thanks for corroborating it!

CareBear
The term castile is loosely defined as soap made exclusively with vegetable oils.TRUE Castile soap has to be made in Castile, Spain. What we call castile soap is clearly in between the two. elitenaildesign
I bought a small bottle at a health food store. I dont get whats so great about it. The smell is aweful, so now its sitting up in a box of "will never use" again.
