scifichik
I need help in locating craft ideas that easy to complete for pre-schoolers and kindergarteners. Ideally, the project needs to take less than 30 minutes because those little guys have short attention spans. Think vacation bible school/Sunday School and you've got the right idea!Links appreciated!
franu61
Fruit loop necklaces! Always a favorite for the kids and so easy for the adults. Just tie off one fruit loop on the end of a stiff string. The curling ribbon works well, cut the end to a nice point so it is easy for the kids to string the cereal on it. Give them a handful of cereal and challenge them to make color patterns as they string. Also a challenge to get them to NOT eat any until it is finished. (Except the broken ones..the kids LOVED that, they won't work on the string so they get to eat them NOW) When they are done tie it so they can wear as a necklace. (Yes I used to work in a preschool, lol)

DeAnna_EC
http://www.enchantedlearning.com/crafts/I started saving my kcups from my coffee maker, they make great little cups for crafting, cut out some paper ears and get googly eyes and they can turn them into anything, also they make great little cups for planting a seed. jenn624
I am the VBS craft leader by default at the church I went to as a kid (the fact that I no longer even attend church anywhere apparently doesn't deter them from guilting me into helping every year), and pinterest has been just an awesome resource for me. There are literally thousands of ideas posted there, and I just made a board and started pinning. I invited my 2 helpers to pin to it too, and between all of us, we got everything ready to go for 4 different age groups from pre-K to teenagers. You should definitely hit pinterest up!! Lightning Bug
I have done many preschool crafts for different themes at our local library (for 11 yrs) and usually you can just Google kids crafts and get many ideas. Or, if for church, you can put in the theme (we just did Paul at VBS) and crafts and get lots of help. Just a few:http://www.dltk-kids.com/type/paper.htmhttp://fun.familyeducation.com/crafts/childrens-art-activities/33381.htmlhttp://familycrafts.about.com/od/toddlersandpreschoolers/Crafts_for_Toddlers_and_Preschoolers.htmhttp://ministry-to-children.com/preschool-bible-lessons/http://www.kidssundayschool.com/19/preschool/crafts.phpHope that helps some too.
